Veronica Peralejo is a dynamic multi-media object maker who does painting and sculptures. She explores the poetic nature of the universe found in everyday life. Her art practice is fundamentally inspired by the abstract imageries she derives from otherwise mundane and familiar elements that surround her daily.
In 2010, Veronica earned her BFA in Painting and graduated Cum Laude from the University of the Philippines College of Fine Arts in Manila. Her first solo exhibit, ‘Pocket Universe’ (2015), was shortlisted in the Ateneo Art Awards. She has exhibited in various galleries in the Philippines, such as Art Informal, West Gallery, Finale Art File, and Vinyl on Vinyl, and abroad: Art Central HK (Hong Kong) and Gajah Gallery (Singapore).
